John Zimmer was  added to the Bruins roster of the Classics division in the South Coastal Men's Hockey League this year and he has been a key addition to the team. Zimmer of Marshfield led the Bruins and both divisions of the SCHL in scoring during the Fall Season and he was instrumental in his team winning the Classics division title. He scored with 1:53 left in overtime to give the Bruins a 4-3 win over the Canadiens in the Classics division championship game. It was the Bruins first title since the Winter of 2007 season. Zimmer finished with two goals and two assists and Steve Anzuoni had two goals for the Bruins in the game. Tim McCrystal of Marshfield led the Canadiens with a goal and an assist including the game-tying goal with 2:49 left in regulation. Mike Evans and Mike

Martin of Pembroke scored the other goals for the Canadiens. Bruins goalie Jim Stone and Canadiens netminder Jeff Hollstein both of Pembroke were both outstanding in goal as they each stopped two breakaways in the game.
The Legends division title belonged to the Saints for the first time in their history. Charles Ryan scored in the first period from John Currie, and Frank Elwood scored in the second period from Jeff Nelson as the Saints hung on for a 2-1 win over the Sharks in the Legends division championship game. Art Riccio scored in the third period for the Sharks assisted by Richard Petrosino and Richard Bertone, both of Marshfield.
However, Marshfield's Justin Stratton stopped 18 shots including some key stops in the third period for the Saints.
